From Thursday, April 28, to Saturday, April 30, the Center for Cold War Studies and International History will host the 2022 New Scholars International Conference on the Cold War. Fifteen graduate students or newly minted PhDs from universities around the world will present papers based on original research and receive feedback from over a dozen professional scholars, also from all over. The event is free and open to the public, and we invite members of the UCSB community to attend.The event will begin with a reception on Thursday evening and consist of two full days of sessions on Friday and Saturday.
