Professor Gordin will make a brief presentation and then lead a discussion of some of his recent scholarship.  Workshop attendees are encouraged to read in advance the introduction to Professor Gordin's book, Red Cloud At Dawn: Truman, Stalin, and the End of the Atomic Monopoly (2009)
